Diastasis Recti Abdominis —What to do when you are split
down the middle
Do you have separation or widening of your abdominal muscles
in the midline as a consequence of your pregnancy, menopause or excessive,
inappropriate abdominal training? Are you struggling to progress in your
exercise program or have low back pain and a decrease in overall mobility?
Diastasis Recti Abdominis (DRA) is very common postpartum, and 66% of women who
have DRA have at least one support related pelvic floor dysfunction, such as
incontinence or prolapse. But you can do something about it! Please join
Vanessa Torres, doctor of physical therapy and pelvic health specialist for a
one hour seminar to learn how you can affect change on the abdominal wall and
make yourself stronger and more functional for all of life’s tasks.
